Getting Started The CRB Check
Firstly you will have to undergo a CRB(Criminal Records Buereau) check.
If you have a clean licence and no criminal record apply straight to Capita Recruitment Company (CRVS)
Telephone 0870 850 2455 and ask for a disclosure application pack, fill it in send it back, this will usually take about 3 weeks.
On return they will give you a disclosure reference number, which you add to ADI 3 and send it to the DSA.
If you are disabled in any way contact the DSA first as you may need an emergency control certificate.
If you have any points or a criminal record, send the ADI 3 directly to the DSA first.

If you do have points or a criminal record it does not necessarily mean you will be refused entry to the register.
All cases will be judged on their own merit

If you get DSA approval, they will send you the ADI3 back, allowing you to apply for a CRB application pack.
Fill it out send it to CRB usually takes 3 weeks.
You will then receive a disclosure reference number, to be entered on ADI 3, then send the ADI 3 to DSA.
